6 of our best morning rituals to get your power back!


Wake up early.
As simple as that.

Now I know it’s not as easy as it sounds, trust me some days it’s difficult for me too! But, it’s something that I am consciously and continuously work on because I know how much better I feel for it and how much more time I will have in my day!  
Watching Mother Nature work her magic by bringing light to our living room, is such a beautiful experience. I sit there in awe and say to myself “what a blessing today is”-corny i know!
For me, waking at 6am gives me the time to set the tone for the rest of the day.
Dedicating time for you in the morning and allowing yourself to just be, breathe, reflect and connect is the recipe to a wonderfully fulfilled life and it has honestly transformed my life.
 
Gratitude journalling.
Again, life changer.
Giving thanks, and feeling the gratitude in every single cell of your body for all the wonderful people, experiences and luxuries that you are lucky enough to have in your life will make such a positive impact on your overall wellbeing.

Gratitude has the power to change your whole life experience.

Mindfulness practice.
Practising mindfulness will help relax the body and mind and help reduce stress. This practise can have such a positive impact to your overall health and wellbeing.  It can include a slow meditative walk, 20 minutes of chakra healing meditation, guided meditations, breathe work, manifestation and visualisation guided meditations.

There is no right or wrong. It’s important to listen to your body and practise what feels right for you on that day. Your body is always talking to you, you just have to listen. 

Move.
Get your blood flowing, your heart pumping and your digestion moving. It will also increase dopamine and endorphins in the body, giving you that extra happiness boost and setting up your day for success. Listen to your body and do what is it that you are feeling. Listen to your favourite podcast or playlist can while your at it!

Hydrate. Hydrate. Hydrate. 
Hot water and lemon in the morning helps to aid digestion and is a rich source of vitamin C. It will help replenish the water lost overnight and is also known as a strong detox agent.

Make your bed. 
I do this, religiously! It gives me a huge sense of accomplishment and leads to better productivity for the rest of my day.  Take a couple of minutes to each morning to make your bed.. it might just improve your entire life.

 

Remember to enjoy the process and the journey along the way of creating your success. Listen to your body and give yourself the space to simply be.

Making time for yourself in the morning set you up for success.
You are worth every minute that you spend on you, always make time for your precious self.
